The EHB offers basic training to various groups of people:
VET/PET professionals
Vocational trainers (responsible for providing apprenticeship training at host companies within the framework of upper-secondary level VET programmes):
Vocational teachers (responsible for providing education and training at vocational schools within the framework of upper-secondary level VET programmes):
Professional college teachers (responsible for providing education and training at professional colleges within the framework of tertiary-level PET programmes):
FVB teachers (responsible for preparing VET students and/or VET graduates for the Federal Vocational Baccalaureate (FVB) Examination. The FVB is an optional general education qualification that automatically entitles VET graduates to enrol directly in a Swiss university of applied sciences):
